VIDEO TALK | HOPE FOR THE BEST, AND WORK FOR IT: ESSENTIAL LEADERSHIP PILLARS FOR CABO VERDE IN A RAPIDLY EVOLVING WORLD

In this session, David Simas will delve into three foundational pillars of leadership essential for navigating the complexities of a rapidly evolving world. Firstly, we will explore the paramount importance of listening. True leadership emanates from a deep understanding cultivated through active and empathetic listening. By attuning ourselves to the thoughts and needs of others, we can forge deeper connections and foster genuine understanding. Next, we will examine the art of modeling leadership. It transcends mere rhetoric; true leadership is reflected in the actions and behaviors we exemplify. Finally, the words we speak, the narratives we craft for ourselves and our nation, inspire collective action. By embodying aspirational visions and stories, leaders can evoke a sense of purpose and mobilize communities towards shared goals. We will turn our focus to Cabo Verde's unique position in the global landscape. Situated in an optimal geographical location, Cabo Verde holds immense potential for growth and development. Join us as we explore these key leadership principles and delve into strategies for realizing Cabo Verde's full potential in the global arena.
